Project overview
We partnered with Chargemap to redesign its Drivers, Business, and Partners platforms into a unified, multi-locale ecosystem with custom CMS and frontend, empowering teams and supporting scalable growth across Europe.
The
Challenge
Chargemap had grown into a European EV leader, but its three core platforms—Drivers, Business, and Partners—were fragmented across legacy stacks, hardcoded pages, and SEO-unfriendly structures. Simple content or layout changes required developer involvement, blocking marketing and design teams from iterating at the speed of the market. We needed to unify everything into a single, multi-locale ecosystem with custom CMS and frontend, preserving SEO and performance while supporting rapid international expansion.
Our
Solutions
We took an ecosystem-first approach, redesigning the three platforms in phases while converging them on a shared custom CMS and frontend architecture. For Drivers, we rebuilt the high-traffic marketing site with a flexible content model, robust locale management, and SEO-safe migration from subdomains to localized paths. For Business and Partners, we modernized the UI, unified information architecture, and reused core components while tailoring flows and visuals to each audience. Throughout, we focused on empowering Chargemap’s marketing and design teams to launch pages, run experiments, and adapt messaging without developer support.
Key
Deliverables
1. Unified multi-locale architecture - Designed a single, scalable platform architecture that serves Drivers, Business, and Partners with consistent UX and centralized locale management across Europe.
2. Custom CMS for team autonomy - Built a flexible CMS that lets marketing and design teams create, edit, and localize pages without developer involvement.
3. Chargemap Drivers redesign & SEO migration - Rebuilt the high-traffic Drivers experience with improved UX and executed an SEO-safe migration from fragmented structures to a consolidated, multi-locale site.
4. Performance, analytics & design system - Optimized frontend performance, implemented analytics hooks, and introduced a reusable design system to keep future features consistent and faster to ship.

The
Results
The three fragmented platforms were transformed into a cohesive, high-performing ecosystem with a shared CMS and frontend. Marketing and design teams can now launch and localize pages in hours instead of dev sprints, while improved information architecture and SEO increase qualified traffic across all three products. With a unified codebase and design system, Chargemap can roll out new features and enter new European markets much faster and with far less engineering overhead.
